Mental Health

Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Insomnia and PTSD.

If you are looking for better emotional health, more clarity and energy, and less stress; neuropuncture can rehabilitate your neurochemistry and nervous system without having to rely on pharmaceutical medication. Neuropuncture can also play a role in helping you transition off of medication, if that is something you choose. I utilize a low frequency electro-acupuncture machine that is FDA approved for acupuncture which allows us to rehabilitate the brain and neurochemistry.

Acupuncture provides the impulse for your body to return to a state of wellbeing by stimulating the peripheral nervous system. We can address the root cause of many conditions by understanding the neurophysiology and neuropathology of your health concerns and utilizing acupuncture with specific electrical inputs to rehabilitate your system - this is Neuropuncture. Neuropuncture can provide an upgrade in your quality of life, naturally, along with good nutrition and lifestyle habits. Oftentimes, medication can be reduced or ceased as the body returns to its natural state of health.

Sports and Orthopedic Injuries

Sports Injuries, Tendonitis, Neck Pain, Low Back Pain, Rotator Cuff Injuries, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Arthritis, Knee or Ankle Injuries, Neuropathy, Neuromas, Sciatica, Sprains and Strains, Lateral or Medial Epicondylitis, Spinal issues, Pre and Post Surgery Rehab, Injury Prevention and Muscle Rehab are some of the orthopedic conditions I treat.

Acupuncture is a wonderful modality for many sports or orthopedic injuries and pain presentations. We can utilize Trigger Point Needing (aka Dry Needling) or Motor Point Needling to rehab muscles and encourage them return to a healthier more functional state. Anatomical acupuncture techniques allow me to safely needle into or around injured tissue whether that is tendonitis, a muscle or ligament strain, arthritis or joint inflammation. One of the primary mechanisms of acupuncture is the local effect the needle has on surrounding tissue. When a needle is inserted, that area of insertion receives an increase in blood flow and the influx of many endogenous healing chemicals that begin to repair the tissue.
